How Can We Achieve Peace?

Dear Friends when I want to think about peace there are a lot of question which come to my mind:

What is peace?

Why we can’t find it?

Why it can be friend to some yet an enemy to others?

Why everyone on earth searching for it?

I don’t know that what is this elusive word that seems to escape us? If you search dictionaries some of them define peace as “freedom from conflict between people or groups of people” and “the absence of violence or war.” These statements, however, are furthest away from the truth when describing planet Earth. We are plagued with the diseases of war, genocide, ethnic cleansing, racism, hatred and mass killing of people. The land is stained with blood and the air is polluted with animosity.

Then where is the peace?

And what we should do to achieve the peace?

Or in simple word I can ask you that:  Is Peace Really Achievable?

Yes. I believe peace is acheivable. I actually tend to think it is our natural state... we're just messing with it too much.. we want too munch to control things. In fact when we are spectators of others and appreciate them, we contribute to their peace. When we are spectators of such atrocities and embrace the ones who suffer as victims and the ones who suffer as persecutors, we offer them peace.

Dear Sayed, I guess will never find the answer to this questions by trying to reach it with thinking. It is something much beyond. No one says that living on this planet is easy, no one says that we are provided with all the conditions to cultivate peace in us, it is quite the contrary. But is is you who make a choice. You choose the state of your own mind and you decide what is your own peace. And once you decided to practice peace, life is not necesseraly turn out to be a "cherry pie", it can get even tougher but it is a challange and it will never get any easier. We do not practice peace to make an easy living, or to judge and external war for living in a war, but start from yourself and look what happens:)
