In the 24 hours that make up our day, we spend this limited, valuable time on many things, but we hardly ever spend time on the most precious thing of all, our own minds. It is ironic that the peacemakers of the world can no longer define peace, because they themselves do not have peace of mind. We put great efforts into peace building, but we never practice how to make peace in our mind; not even for 1 hour during the 24 hours of our day. Hence, the 2010 International Day of Peace is a great opportunity for the world to realize that this 1 in 24 hours (1-24) of inner peace time will develop peace of mind that can contribute to the construction of peace in families, societies and the world. This 1-24 will be a capital that the peacemakers who gather together on the International Day of Peace will use to create millions of hours of peace in their society as a neo heritage for future generations.
