Dear Peace Rebels from East Africa;

Hope you are enjoying your inner peace experiences.

The kampala Meditation Group with the support of Uganda Budhist Centre, Peace Revolution secretariat, participants and other well wishers are organizing a meditation retreat in Entebbe (Garuga) from 21 to 22nd November, 2009.

All peace Rebels from East Africa especially Uganda are invited to join as we trek a road less traveled to creating sustainable peace. I am excited that we will have floating lanterns event :-), reminds of the good time and my family in Thailand and all over the world.

We are privileged to have Lp Somsak from South Africa to lead the Meditation.

The retreat will be at the Uganda Buddhist Centre in Garuga- Entebbe. Participants will leave Kampala for Entebbe on Friday Evening. There will also be a special meditation retreat on Thursday (19th Nov,2009) evening in Kampala

This retreat i know we going to learn a lot from monk Somsak and am waiting for that special day in my life,i will learn a lot of techniques to increase my inner peace and my meditating.

The Meditation Retreat In Kampala was very great we had Ven.Somsak From south-Africa coming in to guide us in Meditation .it was my first time to see a monk physically i was so excited and greatfull .

we had over 11 people attending the two day mediation retreat with a total of 8 meditation sessions .it was really great

I'm happy you had a good retreat. I wish this to be the start of many Middle Way meditation retreats in Uganda and the rest of Africa too!
