Home Away From Home

KenyaAisha Mahmoud Abdulaziz says:

Lately i have been thinking about what it would be like to find and keep inner peace. I have been imagining how it would feel if we were able to, after the time and effort we have put in towards finding inner peace, dedicating this meditation practice, sharing love and kindness towards weaving world peace, finally do it. Say it's a wrap!
I say weaving because i believe wholly that world peace does exist, but we have continued to unwarp, unravel ourselves, pulling out into pieces threads of that beautiful peaceful fabric we once were...by finding boxes to fit in.. Trying to be something that others would recognize, loosing more and more of our intrinsic beautiful thoughts and feelings. Perhaps even growing into people we never thought ourselves to be, sometimes even in negative ways that braek our hearts. It could be us, it could be the people around us.
What would that world be like? When we are truly fulfilled and find ourselves universally in love. When we stop and feel the grass, and smile at people we have never met and feel that we know them.
That would be home sweet home.
With meditation, we don't need to wait for that day. We find our home away from home, it becomes our inner shell, that we can crawl into and listen to our bodies, our hearts and minds and just be at home. The journey to peace is not outside ourselves but in us, and as we seek to improve our meditation, it ceases to matter what goes on around us. All that does matter is what goes on inside ourselves and how we get those positive vibrations from ourselves to others around us by example of kindness and love. I would like to say to all the amazingly beautiful peace rebels who have taken this one step; that it truly does take just one person to make a home  just as it does one lighthouse on the shore to invite all sailors from the sea. I cant wait for you to discover your inner peace and light and spread it all around you!! Love and hugs!!!

you have a point Aisha, but you know where i come from sometimes accepting that what is around us ceases to mater becomes difficult for the heart to accept children of three years on 2wards begging to make the family survive when you are not strong enough after walking around it sticks in your heart forever.
