I'm having a bit of a problem .. I'm kind of new to meditation, aside from the distractions that I'm trying to overcome day by day, I have muscles problem!
You see, my job requires long hours of sitting in front of the computer, so when I sit down to meditate I feel pain in my back (specially that I'm not leaning on anythings and trying to keep my back straight) and if I stay for long I start feeling pain in my legs!!
Is there a solution to that? Or will practice help improve this?
practice makes perfect....i was feeling the same at the beginning but your muscles will be used to this technique as the time goes on....good luck
keep on spreading peace
love you

Hi Shereeen,
Stretching before and after meditation helps a lot to lengthen the muscles and prevent pain...
When you meditate a lot stretching is an essential part of preparing for sitting.
Here is a helpful exercise you can do at the office
