Why this OPS?

i want to have the opportunity to share something that has become important to me. the meditation & yoga center i attend is filled with people who already practice IPT, so i am choosing to invite a few people along who have not necessarily made IPT a regular practice.

Objectives

to introduce a few friends to IPT and provide support/encouragement if they would like to continue to practice IPT. would also like to have a debrief and discussion afterwards.

How to implement it?

there will be space at my apartment to meditate this coming Monday night with a group of roughly 5 people. we will be using one of the mp3s from this website. short discussion and refreshments will follow.

Benefits

hopefully the introduction of IPT will be beneficial not only for those who participate, but those they associate with as well. a ripple effect. . .

we began with a few relaxation techniques then went through the meditation together. afterwards there was about a 30 minute discussion on each person's experience.
