If you're talking about meditation with the children - no, unfortunately, it's not possible. We have determined time with them , going only into the classes and we're under strict control of our supervisors. The only thing I can do is to influence them to be more compassionate, caring and peaceful in there relations. :)

I hope you understand my reactions and frustrations. The media is not doing a good job. All kind violences are highlighted in medias instead of spreading love, peace, helpfull assistents which can be adapteded by youth. Violence gives rise to violence. We call ourself civilised but this is going back to medieval time when the upphand of violence is leading the way with violence. I would like a non violent world where there is respect humbleness, appreciation,sharing, care in a sustainable manner not only to mankind but also environment.

"Prevention of aggression and violence in the schools"
Why this OPS?
I chose this project because it's mandatory internship from my University. And it fits perfectly with the requirements of your Special OPS. I will teach about Peace and prevention of aggressive behaviour little kids.
Objectives
Since it's my 3rd year of Psychology now I must do certain work and gain credits in order to continue my education. This project started in the beginning of November and will continue until june 2010. It's officially accredited by New Bulgarian University. The total number of hours we will teach in the schools is 300 hours.
How to implement it?
We are a group of 8 students in this elementary school, 2 groups of 4 students each and we're going in different classes one full week of every month. The classes are from 1st to 7th (Bulgarian system) which means children in the age of 7-14 y/o. Every time we must do lectures, discussions, group-games, all related to the main subject - "Prevention of aggressive and violent behaviour". We're also talking about meditation and other techniques for inner peace and positive behaviour.
Benefits
The benefits are great! It's a huge experience for me - in my education, in my communication with children, in my teaching abilities. Even in overcoming my shyness. We hope we can seriously influence these children and help them understand that the aggression is not the right way of communicating. We want to teach them how to be positive and complete individuals of optimal use for this society.
