Inner Peace @ Home

BrazilBernardo Neves says:

OPS Name

Inner Peace @ Home

Why this OPS?

I think that the good deeds should start at home, where they are frequently needed. To have a peaceful environment at home is a good start to start spreading the peace to the rest of the world.

Objectives

To formalize the meditation "advertising" I've done among my family and friends, and to support those who may be truly interested in practing it further.

How to implement it?

I'm implementing it by simply arranging a gathering of my close relatives and some friends and acquaintances, in my house or in theirs. Then we get to talk, to get to know what are each one expects or think about meditating, and then proceed to the practice itself.

Benefits

Sharing all the good experiences I've had so for, maybe inspiring others to start meditating on a daily basis. It may be also useful as a training for me to learn how to explain and teach about the basics I've learned about meditation.

Dear Bernardo,
I am so touched and inspired by your project, I wish I could describe more fully how amazing this is...
but simply just superb and amazing!!...Well done, and congratulations on a very successful project.

Its a really great thing you have done to share the miracle of inner peace with your family!

Hi Bernardo

How nice to see your Peace in action!! As you say, starting at home is very important and sometimes not so easy!

Thank you for sharing this picture with us, congratulations!!

PIPO!
BrazilBernardo Neves says:

Thanks for the support and comments, Jamaree, Anita, and Ursula!

I was kind of embarassed by the simplicity of the Project, much smaller than the ideas I had before. Nevertheless, I guess it's a good start(although I started kind of late)!

As I'm meeting other people, it's still in progress! I will be posting other pictures.

PIPO,

Bernardo

ThailandJamaree Nonthatum says:

PeruUrsula Leyva says:

BrazilBernardo Neves says:

Thanks to you all for all the nice comments! (I'm sorry I couldn't comment before- I barely accessed the Internet these last few days).

Anita, that is my friend's guitar, and I played it a little during part of their meditation. I agree, a Peace Revolution song would be nice!

So far the Ops has been wonderful. As soon as I take new photos from other practices, I will be posting them!

PIPO,

Bernardo

BrazilBernardo Neves says:

Hello.
In the next photo, another meditation session with my friend (Fernando, depicted up above in the second photo); this time his older brother (Frederico) joined us.
Although at first he was skeptic of my intention of learning (and now even teaching a little bit)about meditation, it was a good experience after all.
ThailandJamaree Nonthatum says:

Good job Bernardo! I'm so proud of you!

BrazilBernardo Neves says:

Thanks, Jamaree!

In the next photo, that's me with a long-time friend and ex-roommate, which I unfortunately (especially considering he was already interested in these matters) didn't have the opportunity to meditate with. So here it is:

My Friend confided to me that what i thought him is really helpful and inspiring. He personally took this picture of his mediation and sent it to me.
NigeriaVINCENT4442003 says:

Daily Mediation has become part of me and i have also introduced it to many.
NigeriaVINCENT4442003 says:

Other work that i do to help humanity. I arranged with professionals to carry out this exercise to ease the pain of malaria in my community. They fumigate the area against malaria disease and other air borne.
BrazilBernardo Neves says:

Hi! Nice work, Vincent.

Proceeding with the OPS: I have finally meditated with João, my great friend who introduced me the Peace Revolution project, and with his girlfriend Maíra. I suppose many of you who read this may have met him in person!
We haven't meditated together after I've started the the program, so it was about time. His endurance to stay still and keep a good position impressed me!

Peace,

Bernardo
BrazilBernardo Neves says:

This is a good friend of mine(with whom I had already meditated with) and his father.
We had a good time, talked about it and meditated for a little while. Even if they don't keep it as a regular practice, the session was still a good start, an opportunity to share something they probably wouldn't know otherwise.

Peace!

Continuing with the Special Op, after a halt.
This is me and my cousins, Fernanda and Beatriz, at my grandma's house. Now my relatives now that I'm going to Thailand, and are curious about what I'm going to do there.
It's a good opportunity to talk about it, and have a brief meditation with the ones who get interested. It feels good to share my experience, however short, with such a valuable practice.
They liked it and so did I, as I've learned to really enjoy meditating with other people.
I hope they keep practicing at home!

Peace,

Bernardo

This is another IPT practice at home, with Matheus, a good friend that I haven't seen in a long time.

I had a pleasant surprise: we were able to stay naturally still, with ease, for a good time(almost 30 minutes), even though it was his first try with meditation.

PIPO,
