2012 Peace Revolution in Kenya: The Search Engine

Africa is probably the place on Earth that is in the most in need of peace. Realizing inner peace and outer peace (PIPO) in Africa is a dream that is now becoming a reality for Africans. This dream is being attained through the use of the search engines of three very special peace agents. Peace Agents and peace lovers in Kenya together managed to successfully reach 400 students and teachers despite the ongoing teachers’ strike at public universities. It's just the beginning of the everlasting peace in africa.

From the nine fellowships with 173 Peace Agents, only 15 people could pass the tough challenge by the Peace Revolution Committee. We are so proud of them and we are very happy to welcome them again to the next chapter of Peace Revolution.

Art is very much like Life. Just as the circumstances of our life is in a constant state of flux, so too art is constantly experiencing waves of change and expansion, development. Recently we received a very welcome letter from a peace agent in Hong Kong, Emma Lau, about her art exhibition called, “a quiet mind” and how Peace Revolution and her meditation practice influenced her most recent showcase.

It is a day dedicated to peace, initially the 21st of was sanctioned to be a day of ceasefire in war torn nations, allowing them access to humanitarian aid. But, as human awareness is expanding, World Peace day has a much deeper meaning. Peace is not merely an absence of war, but a state of mind, as UNESCO declared, "Peace begins in the minds of men.”

Peace Revolution at the first Inter-civilization Dialogue on Peace Volunteerism

On May 25th, Cookie Rachel Giacchero presented the Peace Revolution project to an audience at the 1st Inter-civilization Dialogue on Peace Volunteerism conference that was organized in Makati City, Metro Manila. The topic was about how to tackle the Millennium Development Goals with peace volunteerism and related humanitarian activities.
